Default Bad back and dead lifts

Hi guys.

I started working out again a couple weeks ago. Gently increasing my work load. I did my first round of dead lifts today and got thinking about an old problem i have, my bad back. The short of it is that my right hand side is hot and red after a work out whitest my left hand side doesn't feel as if its been worked out. The most obvious muscle is the spinal erector on the right side. It is much more developed.

My question is can i train around this? Should i even worry about it as perhaps in time they will catch up with each other. I hate it when muscles are not symmetrical.

If anyone else has a bad back or a spinal rotation please give me a shout.
