| Silver Member | Well, first of all I wanted to thank you all (especially RockDawg) for your help and support on these boards! I just completed 9 weeks of fat loss and dropped my BF% from 16.5 to 10.1! When I first started I was hoping to drop to ~8% but recently I have been losing more muscle than fat so I figure it's time to switch things up and start massing. Now I am starting a new regimen: I will start massing but I also have another goal I recently started training for, and that's to dunk a basketball by 1/1/11. This involves Plyometrics which is basically a regimen of jumping and sprinting twice a week. My question is: how should I modify my diet plan to take into account the Plyometric activity? - should I down an Ultra Fuel / Protein shake before (and after) the Plyo workout? - should I sip Gatorade during the Plyo workout? Basically I'm looking for advice (nutritional or otherwise) on how to participate in this Plyometric program while losing the least amount of muscle possible. My likely split will be: Mon - Rest Tues - Chest Wed - Plyo Thur - Back Fri - Plyo Sat - Rest Sun - Legs If you have any other advice I would love to hear it! Thanks. |
