Default Help with amount of calories

Hey everyone,
I've just started the program today and i'm on the modified mass program. I worked out my daily intake to be 1875 calories but i've been really hungry all day. I think this is actually less than i usually eat and my meals barely satisfied my hunger for more than an hour. does it mean my body's breaking down my muscle mass? Should i up my intake of food? it'd be appreciated if you guys could help me out. Cheers
