| Skinny Guy Coach ![]() ![]() | Now I'm curious why many people are saying not to drink too much milk because of the lactose. Every site that I go to has skim milk with a GI of about 30 and a GL of about 4. These numbers represent extremely low values in both categories, so what's the issue with the lactose in milk? Granted, I want a fibrous carb and am not going to add more milk to my diet, but I'm just curious why we recommend that people do not drink much milk. The numbers look outstanding, so what's the underlying reason?
