Let's play "name that supplement!"

Posted May 30th, 2008 at 03:36 PM by Anthony Ellis
I have lots of supplements lying around.

First there are the supps that I actually use daily, then add onto that supps that I'm testing out.

Then add onto that supps that people give me to try, etc...

Well you get the idea, anyway, check out this pic of the stuff I found the last time I cleaned out my supplement drawer.

Some of this stuff is old! I think I may even have some andro (andrestenediol) in there from back in the day.

Can you guys guess what some of this junk is?

Note, this is actually only ONE of my supplement containers. I have FOUR! Let me see if I can get some shots of them also.

The most useful supplement I see there is the Swiss Army Knife. I should have remembered to bring one of those on my list motorcycle trip. I really could have used it a few times.

As far as supplements fellas, I have eliminated ALL supplements excepts for a select few: Some MRP's and 100% whey, A multi-vitamin, Vitamin-C, Flaxoil,Creatine, and L-Glutamine. Supplements are VERY expensive, and there is not enough research of 90% of them that they are as good as advertised. I keep my multi-vitamins for defensive purposes only. It ensures my body is not deficient of vitamins and minerals, keeps me healthy and does not let the free-radicals set me back with illness. We know creatine is absolutely the best at helping build muscle and increase strength. If your a professional athlete or bodybuilder, then of course, you want to experiment with supplements which may provide the "edge" your looking for. However, I have experienced excellent results using JUST the supplements I have mentioned above. Nothing fancy, nothing sexy, nothing that comes in a colorful bottle and/or package...just the simple and EFFECTIVE essentials!
