Default Switch to Incline Bench Press?

So here is the deal. I went and saw an endocrinologist as I have a mild case of what is known as male breast. You really cannot tell unless you really look closely. Anyways I told him I am dieting to gain muscle, blah, blah, blah and he told me, if I am so concerned with it I should concentrate on doing incline bench press so that my upper chest would pop out and the male breast thing is unnoticeable. (I have had this since the age of 16, and basically it happens to all men during puberty. What happens after is that 50% of them go back to normal and the rest keep it, sometimes it is severe. I have a mild case of it.)

Anyways, I started the program for real about 2 months ago and I have definitely noticed results. Do you think I can switch to incline bench press (what the doctor recommended) and get all the effects of the regular flat bench press or should I stick to flat because it will hit the entire chest?

Thank you !
