This economy is hurting my gains! What's up fellas, a pretty dramatic title right? But very true nonetheless. I hit a all time high for me at 132 lbs. (starting at 110 lbs. for those that might remember) but then for different reasons it went downhill from there, I've lost 10 lbs. It still so hard for me to believe that it's so hard to gain weight and muscle, yet so easy to lose it. I've been trying to get back on the horse but I couldn't because I didn't have the motivation. Now that I have the motivation I don't have the money.
To be honest, money was never an issue for me but now I've been out of job for a year, now my parents are unemployed as well so money is pretty scarce. I've been trying to find ways to continue the program in a wallet friendly diet but I don't know what to do. Everything costs money!
I already make my own PW drink with kool aid, malto and dextrose. I save some money there but I still have to buy all of those things.
A big part of my diet is the MRP (I drink about 3 of them a day, big source of my needed daily caloric intake) I usually buy a MRP supplement such as Isopure with Muscle Milk but that comes to around $50-60 altogether. I could make my own MRP but I don't know how I would like that.
Then comes the secondary part of my diet, the food. Eggs, salmon and chicken. All cost me around $25-30 a week I could make it last maybe a couple weeks.
So maybe I don't have as bad as others (and I pray for them and hope things get better) but being on the program still costs money that I don't have so I was wondering if any of you guys are going through similar situations or how would you plan to deal with it. It kills me to know that everyday I don't feed right and lose that hard gain muscle but I don't know what to do, I want to start the program again but my wallet can't. |
