| Inactive | Hey guys, I've been trying to balance my mass gaining workout with my Kung Fu classes, but I'm having a lot of trouble managing it. Anthony said not to do any isolation exercises when doing other forms of exercise, but I'm not really sure what that means. So maybe some of you could help me out? Monday 8am: Gym, chest, shoulders, triceps. Tuesday 12:30-1:30pm: Kung Fu, full body workout, usually involves lots of kick combinations training Wednesday 8am: Gym, back, biceps Thursday 6-8:30pm: Kung Fu, basic endurance+arms+weapons Friday 8am: Gym, Legs Saturday is my day off Sunday 3:30-4:30pm: Kung Fu, full body workout, the most intensive day Basically, here are my questions: 1) Is there enough time between workouts to make this schedule ok? 2) Should I be taking glutamine every day to make up for the overuse of my muscles? 3) What exercises can/should I take out to compensate for the combination of workouts? In the book it says to remove the isolation exercises, but I have no idea which ones those are. I believe that bicep curls are isolation exercises, but what about shoulder presses? Bench presses? etc I'm thinking of reducing the number of workout days to 2, but I don't want to cut exercises that are important (my friends tell me to cut out the legs, but they all look like really buff men walking on twigs, so I don't exactly trust their judgment, figured I'd get some info from people on here) That's all for now folks, lemme know what you guys think Rami |
